I am a woman who had a dream about being in the kitchen for my childhood it was a used shape kitchen with a bar and in it towards the kitchen sink around in a u shape it was just stacked with dirty dishes so I opened up the dishwasher and decided to do the dishes my grandmother who was at the end of the bar came over and she was starting to help me and I said no grandma you're not to do the dishes at all and then my mother was there and she was in a white blouse Peter Pan with a black cardigan sweater my mother didn't say much to me but both of these women my mother and grandmother are deceased then I woke up.
In this dream, being in the kitchen of your childhood represents a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. The used shape of the kitchen and the bar may symbolize a feeling of comfort and security. The dirty dishes can be seen as a metaphor for unresolved emotional issues or burdens from your past.
Opening up the dishwasher and deciding to do the dishes indicates your willingness to confront and address these emotional burdens on your own. However, when your grandmother, who represents wisdom and guidance, attempts to help you, you reject her assistance. This may suggest that you have a tendency to rely solely on yourself and struggle with accepting support from others, even from those who have passed away.
The presence of your deceased mother, dressed in a white blouse and black cardigan sweater, may symbolize a balance between purity and practicality. Her lack of communication could suggest a longing for her guidance and advice in your current life situations.
Overall, this dream signifies a desire to tackle your emotional baggage independently and a struggle with accepting help or guidance from those who have passed away. It may be time to consider the wisdom and support they can still offer, even if in a more subtle or symbolic way.
